Livistona nitida - Carnavon palm
This is one of the best-looking Australian Livistona. Has glossy, bright green fan leaves. It can grow to heights of 25 to 30m (75-90 feet). Grows native in the mountains of Queensland to an altitude of about 1000 mtr (300 feet).
It can take some heavy frost and is the most hardy Livistona, (even hardier than decipiens) and is therefore extremely popular.
