Dioon edule - Chestnut dioon
Dioon edule is a rare cycad palm from Mexico. A small palm with a trunk that only reaches up to 2 metres (6 feet) high, often not being present at all. It is a slow-growing palm tree.
Dioon edule differs from other Dioon species insomuch as it has a lack of spines on the edges of the leaves.
