Yucca treculeana

This yucca is named 'Spanish dagger/bayonet', due to its long, tough leaves. These leaves are dark green in colour, and can be distinguished from other yuccas due to the lack of a white edging on the leaves.

This yucca is quite hardy in winter and can survive cold temperatures. It is even known to be able to recover even after severe damage. It is easy to maintain, as it does not require a lot of water either. It is best to keep the soil well drained.
