This rare blue yucca originates from Mexico. Compared to most yucca plants, the linearifolia has thin (but long) leaves. The plant itself normally becomes +/- 2,5 metres (7 feet) high, but this can vary, depending on where it is grown.
It is recommended to cover the top after flowering, as it can leave a gap. If left uncovered, water (rain) might cause rot in the gap left behind after flowering. It is, just like most yucca plants, drought resistant and very hardy in the winter. It likes full sun, but can do fine in half shadow as well.
