Root barrier for bamboo
This is used to ensure that the roots grow downwards, thereby preventing paving stones and the like from being pushed upwards by roots. For invasive bamboo, for example, this material is indispensable and highly recommended. Always allow the top to protrude slightly above the ground so that the roots do not grow over it.
