Platanus acerifolia

Platanus acerifolia is a hybrid tree known as the London plane. They are commonly used in cities and on terraces to provide shade, as they have very little requirements, grow a small rootbase and is resistant to pruning. They are strong, tall trees with a large and wide corwn of maple-like leaves. 

These trees are recommended if you are looking for a tree to provide shade without having a lot of hassle attached to it.
