Pinus nigra var. nigra multiplateau extra - Zwarte den

Pinus nigra is an evergreen tree which grows rapidly to a height of 30m (90 feet) and a width of 8m (25 feet)!. It is in flower from May to June, and the seeds ripen in October. The flowers are monoecious (individual flowers are either male or female, but both sexes can be found on the same plant) and are pollinated by wind. The plant does not self-fertilize.
