Diospyros kaki Korea - Oriental persimmon

Persimmon(Kaki) can easily withstand our winters. Its fruit appears in autmumn and unusually, the fruit of this tree becomes riper after night-frost! The more mature the fruit, the sweeter it tastes. The fruit can usually be picked at the end of October or at the beginning of November.

This race of Kaki is bred specifically in Korea for its sweet taste. It is a self pollinating grafted plant with delicious fruit.
